Colten Harris serves as City Administrator for the City of Republic, bringing more than a decade of experience in municipal leadership, infrastructure management, and organizational development.
Prior to joining Republic, Harris built a career in public service with the City of Springfield, where he advanced through multiple leadership roles and most recently served as Superintendent of Streets. In that role, he led one of the city's largest divisions, overseeing more than 100 employees and managing a multi-million-dollar operating budget while directing critical services including transportation infrastructure, stormwater operations, and emergency response coordination.
Harris holds a master's degree in engineering management and is a licensed Professional Engineer. His leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and long-term planning, with a focus on building strong teams and delivering reliable, transparent service to the community.
As City Administrator, Harris works closely with the Mayor, City Council, and staff to advance Republics' strategic priorities, support responsible growth, and ensure the city's operations remain responsive, ethical, and forward-looking.
